Honesty is the best policy in relationships and politics, I believe that when a person says they are going to do something, they should try their hardest to achieve that goal and not to give up because of bureaucracy bull crap. I'm a red headed Irish, Scottish, English, German female and a Sagittarius, watch out world. I have a mind of my own and I believe in do unto others as you would have done unto you, what goes around comes around three fold. I believe that men can not ever be truly faithful at least not in mind, and until other women realize this, the world will not balance out. I believe this because of our former Presidents, come on women, they are only human, why judge them for being men? Why not judge them for the progress they make in our society?, not for their transgressions.
I love cooking, gardening, exploring, and best of all, I love my criminal justice classes at Eagle Gate College. I'm always open to new ideas, new technologies, and I'm eager to learn. We only live once so take advantage of it ( if you believe in that old saying). I love my children, Joshua, and Krista, you two are the best gift that God ever gave to me, and I thank every day for you. My son, even though you are a trial, you keep me on my toes, you may think that you know it all all your age, but, you still have a lot to learn. My son, you act tough when you need to, but, I see through that fog, I see the man I know you will become, and I know that you will overcome this trial period and you will excel because you are a Morris/Packer true and through. My daughter, you came at a time when I was told no more babies, that is why I named you Krista Chauncie, the short being Chance, because I never expected you. Krista, you were also my gift from heaven, you were my angel and I could see this in you everyday when you were growing up. Krista, you and Joshua were grandmas angels also, she loved you both just as much as I loved you both. You were the sunshine on a stormy day, you both were the pot of gold at the end of the rainbow. Through out life, remember that.
I was born in Ogden, Utah. I spent my life growing up in Ogden, UT, Shelley, Idaho, and Alaska. In Alaska I had a pet bear named Bruno, a pet raccoon named Bubba, and a Spider Monkey. In Idaho, my first horse was a Shetland named Cricket and boy was he stubborn, he used to try to step on my toes, bloat his stomach up to avoid the saddle, but in the long run he would finally give up because my stubbornness outweighed his. Then Lady came along, my quarter horse, she was my dream horse. Lady knew my temperament, she knew when I wanted to ride hard and get all the frustration out, she knew when I climbed on her back without bridle or saddle that I need to ride hard and I would just use a lead rope and let her run until my hair was tangled and I was exhausted. Lady knew me through and through, I miss my Lady bug.
See, what most of our neighbors (in Idaho) and my friends did not know, is what went on at my home, the secrets behind closed doors, the bruises and where they came from. They did not know what happened when the lights went out, but, I became stronger because of this, I became more compassionate for other children that might be suffering under this same fate, this is why I chose the field of Criminal Justice, so these children's voices could be heard. In this blog, I just want to get the message across, if you hear or suspect a child is being abused, please please report it, no matter how small, It could mean life or death for that child. I am also an Animal advocate, and the same goes for them, they can not speak for themselves and rely on us for their voices.
